Manager's & Coaches Code of Conduct

1. Ensure that all children are treated equally.
2. Ensure that all children are treated fairly.
3. Understand that not all players are of equal ability and try
to help the players with lesser ability.
4. Ensure that players welfare needs are placed above anything
else.
5. Do not swear in front of children.
6. Be a role model to the children in your charge –
7. Ensure you have an appropriate number of players to coach
ratio.
8. Ensure you adhere to our anti-bullying policy at all times.
9. Always carry out a fair and open recruitment plan.
10. Always use correct and appropriate training methods.
11. Ensure that all equipment is safe and appropriate to the age
of the child (ie size of footballs)
12. Never subject children to excessive physical abuse.
13. Never give children physical exercise as punishment.
14. Be aware of children’s needs as far as weather conditions
are concerned.
15. Don’t let adults play competitive football with young
children.
16. Be aware of goalpost safety including training
17. Ensure volunteers are not racist, sexist, etc.
18. Never cheat children.
19. Never drive one young player home on his/her own. Arrange
for parents to meet.
20. Never turn away a player with a disability.
